61: Grimdark Player Tips

Unfortunately, our interview with Sean McCoy fell through, so to fill the gap we have done an episode about player tips for grimdark games instead, as this was a topic requested many of our patrons when we asked for ideas (and no other topics were forthcoming).

While we wanted to keep this to tips before, during, and after a game, it naturally expanded a bit, so you will also find quite a bit of discussion around session zero.

60: Our History with the OSR

Ahead of our first reviews of OSR products and more OSR content starting next year, we thought it’d be good to give our history with the OSR to help put future reviews and discussions into context.

This episode replaces the planned interview with Sean McCoy, which we hope to conduct in the next episode or two.

This follows our interview with Kenneth in episode 52 – check that out first, because it will help to put this review in context.

Matt has also flicked through the physical book in his accompanying visual review over on our YouTube channel – follow this link: mbcast.co/youtube58
